1 When human beings began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them,
2 the sons of God saw that the daughters of humans were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose.
3 Then the Lord said, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is flesh; his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.”

What does this premature merging mean?
The phrase “prematurely merging” means that Adam’s higher spiritual aspects (“sons of God”) descend and unite with lower, unprepared aspects of his psyche (“daughters of men”) before his soul is fully grounded, healed, and integrated. The “sons of God” represent divine sparks—intuitive insight, spiritual power, and soul-level awareness. The “daughters of men” represent physical desires, emotional needs, and egoic cravings.

This union is premature because the vessel of consciousness (Adam) has not yet developed the stability to hold both realms in harmony. The divine is being poured into form without the necessary structure of wisdom, humility, and alignment. In esoteric terms, it is like a kundalini awakening before ego purification, or divine fire entering a cracked vessel. Without integration, this leads to distortion, confusion, and imbalance.

The presence of Metatron as “the Lord” signals a boundary being drawn not out of punishment but out of divine alignment. When the soul descends too far into flesh, it risks forgetting its origin. Metatron speaks not to condemn but to preserve: “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever.” This marks a return to sacred timing, a limit that invokes balance.
