Genesis 3:11-12, Who Told You About Nakedness?
🌟 The Sacral Chakra
📜 Introduction
In the beginning, the journey of the soul begins with a spark—a divine invitation to awaken and create. Genesis 3:11-12 captures a pivotal moment in the spiritual awakening of Adam and Eve, where the essence of desire, responsibility, and duality come into play. This passage is not just a historical moment—it is a living parable of your own spiritual awakening, the story of Adam’s journey within.
Every word, every breath in this scripture mirrors our own sacred journey: the emergence of light from darkness, the remembering of our divine essence, and the call to step into the fullness of who we truly are.
May this reflection guide you back to the Source of your being, as you awaken the light within and walk the eternal path of Adam’s transformation.
📖 Scripture Passage
Genesis 3:11-12 (NKJV)
“And He said, ‘Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded you that you should not eat?’ And the man said, ‘The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.’”
🕊️ Allegory & Metaphysical Interpretation
This passage reveals the spiritual awakening of Adam through the questioning of his divine purpose and the realization of his desires manifesting in duality. Archangel Raphael, as the healer of divine truth, steps in with a question that calls Adam to witness the consequences of his actions.
Adam, whose desires prompted Eve to manifest a fractal persona, now stands in the midst of duality. Eve, the reflection of his desires, produces the persona that aids Adam in fulfilling his wishes, yet it is Adam who must consciously “put it on.” In this moment, Adam’s choice to “eat” from the tree of good and evil symbolizes his decision to embrace duality and step into a world of contrasts: good and evil, light and dark.
This spiritual passage is a turning point. It marks the moment when the soul, driven by desire, begins to perceive itself as separate, fragmented, and in need of healing. Yet, the recognition of duality opens the door to greater spiritual growth. Through the experience of separation, Adam is invited to return to wholeness, guided by divine truth and healing.
💎 Emerald Tablet Insight
“Man is in the process of changing to forms that are not of this world. Grows he in time to the formless, a plane on the cycle above. Know ye, ye must become formless before ye are one with the Light.”
— The Emerald Tablets of Thoth, Tablet I: The History of Thoth
This passage mirrors the moment in Genesis when Adam is asked, “Who told you that you were naked?”—a question that cuts to the root of all self-consciousness and shame. In Eden, Adam and Eve were once clothed in light—pure creative beings not yet divided by the illusion of separation or form. But in choosing to eat from the Tree of Duality, they began to identify with the form of the body, rather than the essence of the soul. The realization of nakedness is not about physical exposure—it’s the first recognition of identification with the body, the beginning of fragmentation, and the forgetting of our formless origin.
The Emerald Tablet reminds us that our return to the Divine requires transcendence of form. To awaken the full power of the Sacral Chakra, we must confront the distortions around creation, sexuality, and shame—and reclaim the sacredness of embodiment without reducing ourselves to it. Nakedness becomes sacred again only when seen through the eyes of Light, not the lens of fear.
🌟 Tarot as Sacred Symbol: Why I Use Archetypes to Read Scripture
In my work, I use Tarot not as a tool of prediction, but as a language of the inner world. Much like the parables of Jesus or the visions of the prophets, Tarot is a symbolic system that reflects universal spiritual truths.
Tarot, when used with reverence, becomes a mirror of the soul. Each card—like The Lovers, The Empress, or The Fool—represents an inner state, an archetype we meet on the path of transformation.
Suggested Tarot Card(s): The Lovers, The Fool
These cards guide us through the choices we make, the energies of duality, and the deep inner truth that calls us to remember our unity.
🌟 A Course in Miracles Reflection
A Course in Miracles invites us to shift from fear to love, seeing every word and action as an expression of divine blessing and service.
- Key Lesson: “I am responsible for what I see.” This lesson invites us to take full responsibility for the choices we make, just as Adam is invited to take responsibility for what he has manifested through his desires.
- Reflection: The journey of Adam and Eve is the journey of all souls—a dance between duality and unity. It calls us to reclaim responsibility for our creations and to choose love over fear, returning to our true essence in the process.
