Genesis 3:24, The Split Between Masculine and Feminine
š Heart Chakra & High Heart Chakra
š Introduction
In the beginning, the journey of the soul begins with a sparkāa divine invitation to awaken and create. Genesis 3 speaks of the soulās descent from divine innocence into the experience of duality, a parable of how we wander from the Source to remember our light once more. Adam and Eveās journey is not just a historical momentāit is a living parable of my own spiritual awakening, the story of Adamās journey within.
Every word, every breath in this scripture mirrors our own sacred journey: the emergence of light from darkness, the remembering of our divine essence, and the call to step into the fullness of who we truly are.
May this reflection guide me back to the Source of my being, as I awaken the light within and walk the eternal path of Adamās transformation.
š Scripture Passage
Genesis 3:24 ā āAfter he drove the man out, he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life.ā
šļø Allegory & Metaphysical Interpretation
This passage reveals the profound journey of the soulās descent into form and the closing of the direct path to the Tree of Life. The cherubim, placed at the east of the garden, represent the guardians of the soulās rebirthāportals of discernment that test the purity of the heartās intention.
The east of the garden is where the heart liesāon the right side of the body, aligned with the masculine energy of action, strength, and cultivation. The high heart, the place of spiritual wholeness, rests in the westāon the left side of the body, aligned with the feminine energy of receptivity and intuition.
To walk the true path, I must honor the masculine energy within my right side, the active force of will and protection, while also embracing the receptive flow of the feminine within my left side.
The cherubim are not barriers but guides, allowing entrance to the high heart only when my soul is readyāwhen my heartās intentions align with divine truth. Until that unity is found within me, the path to the Tree of Life remains hiddenāa call to journey inward and heal the split between the masculine and feminine within my soul.
Insightful SideBar
š Circle Back to the Broader Journey
In Genesis 3, I witness the paradox of the soulās longing for knowledge and the spiritās call to return to innocence. Adam and Eveās choice is not merely disobedienceāit is the soulās exploration of separation and the invitation to remember divine wholeness. The cherubim stand as eternal guardians, reminding me that true union comes only when the heart and high heart align in sacred harmony.
š Healing the Split Between Masculine and Feminine
The cherubimās placement at the east of the garden speaks to the healing of polarity within me. The masculine (right side, heart) and feminine (left side, high heart) energies find reunion in the high heartāthe western gate of the soulāwhere they merge into a single, harmonious current of divine love. Until this reunion, the Tree of Life remains veiled, calling me to journey deeper into my own soul.
š Blessing and Affirmation
May I remember that the gates of the garden are never truly closedāthey await my return when I am ready to walk the path of wholeness. May I honor the sacred journey of Adam within me, trusting that every shadow reveals the light, and every moment is a step closer to the Source.
š Affirmation:
I honor the journey of my soul. I trust the unfolding of each step. In the union of my heart and high heart, I find my true path back to the Garden.
š Why We Use Kabbalah Insights, Tarot Guidance, A Course in Miracles, Chakra and Energy Healing, Essential Oils, and Crystals
We weave these spiritual tools into our reflections and rituals because they are gateways to deeper understanding and alignment with the Divine.
š Kabbalah Insights
Kabbalah reveals the hidden spiritual architecture of this passage. The cherubim align with the sefirah of Gevurahāthe gateway of discernment and protectionāreminding me that spiritual growth requires both mercy and discipline.
- Descent of Light: This passage represents the unfolding of divine potential in human form, where the soul learns through experience and returns to the Source through love and unity.
- Interplay of Chokhmah and Binah: The masculine and feminine archetypes shape this storyāChokhmah (wisdom) initiates the journey, and Binah (understanding) nurtures it to fruition.
š Tarot Guidance
š Why Use Tarot to Help Explain the Bible?
Tarot and the Bible both speak the language of the soulāa symbolic language that transcends time, culture, and religious tradition. When we read the Bible as a mystical or allegorical text, Tarot becomes a powerful companion tool that can help us:
1. Access the Archetypes Hidden in Scripture
The Tarot is built on universal archetypes: The Fool, The Magician, The Lovers, The Tower, etc. These archetypes are spiritual energies and inner states we all encounter on the path of awakening.
The Bible is full of these same patterns:
- Adam is The Foolāinnocent, beginning a journey.
- Moses is The Hierophantāteacher and spiritual leader.
- Jesus is both The Hanged Man (sacrifice) and The Sun (illumination).
By using Tarot, we unlock a symbolic key that helps us interpret the characters and events in scripture as reflections of our own inner transformation.
2. Bridge the Subconscious and the Sacred
While the Bible speaks to our higher mind and spiritual understanding, Tarot speaks to the subconscious, the intuitive, and the emotional body. Combining them creates a full-spectrum map of healingāone that engages the conscious, unconscious, and divine self.
Tarot doesnāt “predict” the Bibleāit mirrors it, offering:
- Emotional resonance
- Inner meaning
- Spiritual lesson
This helps us embody the teachings rather than just intellectualize them.
3. Support Non-Literal, Mystical Interpretation
If we read the Bible not as historical fact but as a soul journey, Tarot supports that framework. It helps us see:
- The Garden of Eden as a state of inner harmony.
- The serpent as a catalyst for awakening.
- Cain and Abel as personas within the psyche.
Tarot cards echo these same patternsāinviting us to reflect and evolve, not just obey.
4. Guide Personal Revelation
Each Tarot card acts as a spiritual mirror. When placed alongside a biblical passage, it can help a person:
- See what part of the story theyāre currently living.
- Recognize emotional blockages or spiritual opportunities.
- Receive direct inner guidance from their higher self.
For example:
- Reading Genesis 4:9 (Cain & Abel) with the Five of Swords and Judgement card helps us feel the moral weight and spiritual call beyond the literal murder.
5. Restore Feminine and Intuitive Wisdom
The Bible, as traditionally interpreted, often silences the feminine, intuitive, and nonlinear aspects of truth. Tarot reintroduces that dimension:
- The High Priestess restores inner knowing and divine mystery.
- The Empress revives the sacred feminine as a nurturing creator.
- The Moon invites emotional depth and healing.
This balances the rational, patriarchal frameworks and helps integrate heart with mind, intuition with logic.
Final Thought:
Using Tarot with the Bible is not about divination. Itās about illumination.
Itās about awakening the layers of divine meaning encoded in scripture so that it becomes a living revelationāone that meets you exactly where you are on your spiritual path.
The Lovers card embodies the choice of unity or separationāthe heartās longing to return to divine love. The Wheel of Fortune echoes the cyclical nature of spiritual lessonsāthe constant dance of descent and return.
š A Course in Miracles Reflection
A Course in Miracles reminds me that every experience, even those that seem like exile, is an opportunity to choose love over fear.
- Key Lesson: āI am never upset for the reason I think.ā
- Reflection: This helps me see that the apparent exile of Adam is not a punishment but a journey of remembering my divine truth.
šæ Why We Include Rituals
Every blog post in this series is a living practice. Rituals bridge the seen and unseen, allowing the insights of scripture to become embodied truth. Through meditation, journaling, tapping, and anointing, I honor the sacred invitation to walk the path of Adamās return.
š Chakra & Energy Healing Focus
Chakra and energy healing reveal how this scripture speaks to the body as a spiritual vessel. The Heart Chakra (east, right side, masculine) and the High Heart Chakra (west, left side, feminine) are portals linking the unseen spiritual realms to the body. My level of love or fear determines what is allowed to enter through these portals.
- Balanced State: When my heart and high heart are aligned, I remember my oneness with the Source, and the cherubim grant me entrance.
- Imbalance: When blocked by fear or duality, I feel disconnected and cannot see the path to the Tree of Life.

- Clear Quartz ā Clarifies the path back to the Source.
- Emerald ā Brings harmony to the masculine and feminine within.
š EFT Tapping Sequence
- š How to Use This Tapping Sequence
Before beginning, take a few deep breaths and tune in to how I feel. EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) helps release emotional blockages and realign my energy. This practice helps integrate the spiritual message of Genesis 3 into my body and soul.
1ļøā£ Crown: āI open myself to divine light and higher consciousness.ā
2ļøā£ Third Eye: āI release all blocks to spiritual clarity and trust the divine unfolding.ā
3ļøā£ Heart Center: āI am a vessel of light, connected to my higher self and the Source.ā
š Integration Breath: I breathe deeply, letting each tap align my soul with divine truth.
š Simple Anointing & Meditation Ritual
- Anointing
I place a drop of rose or frankincense on my fingertips. I gently anoint my heart (right) and high heart (left) while whispering: āI anoint myself with divine light, opening to the Source.ā I may also anoint other chakra points if called. - Crystal Companion
I hold or place rose quartz on my high heart to amplify my connection to divine love. - Meditation for Divine Union
I sit comfortably, spine straight. I close my eyes and breathe deeply. I visualize a waterfall of light descending into my high heart, dissolving all shadows. I affirm softly: āI am an open vessel of divine light. I trust the wisdom of the Source within me.ā
šļø Journaling for Reflection
After my meditation, I journal any insights or feelings that arose. I honor these as whispers of my soulās awakening.
⨠Closing Blessing
May the divine light illuminate my path, guiding me to remember who I truly am. Let it awaken the sacred truth within me, and may I walk each step in harmony with the Source of all creation. I am the light of creation. So may it be. š
